Online payment tips
Some members have experienced difficulties with our online payment system with payments being denied or not approved. The online payment company we use, Internet Secure has stringent requirements for information being input into the system. Here are a few tips that will hopefully help make the process easier.
- Your information must match what is on file with your credit card company. If your name appears on your statement as John Q Public, that is the way it must be input into the system.
- If you are using a personal card but input your work address the payment may be denied as the information will not match what is on file with the card issuer.
- If you are using a corporate credit card, but you are not the registered holder; the card holder must input their name but with your email address. We need your email address in order to match the payment with your membership record.
- We are not able to take credit card payments over the phone or at professional development workshops.
If you are having difficulty with the online payment system, please email me at treasurer@oaem.ca with a contact number and the best time to contact you and I can help you through the process.
