OAEM-Online was launched to provide enhanced services to OAEM members and Ontario residents with an interest in emergency management. It does that by providing state of the art communication and collaboration tools to facilitate networking among emergency managers, sharing information and resources.

OAEM desires to share its OAEM-Online technology with its members and with other emergency management related public and private and not for profit organizations in Ontario.  This sharing goes beyond the networking these individuals can enjoy by becoming OAEM-Online members and involves helping these organizations accomplish their own emergency management related goals and objectives.  Possibly providing a few examples will help explain how other organizations can work with OAEM-Online.

• Lets assume you are an organization which hosts events that are of interest to Ontario emergency managers. Consider using the OAEM Events Calendar to announce and promote your events. With a membership of nearly 500, many more OAEM-Online viewers and using our social media channels to promote events, we can help you reach your target audience. 
   
• Lets assume you issue or periodically issue news or information bulletins that are of interest to Ontario emergency managers. Consider using one of our OAEM-Online blogs or a blog we can dedicate to your organization to help get your message to your target audience. 
   
• Lets assume you need to collaborate with stakeholders to complete a short term emergency management related project or collaborate on an ongoing basis to support an aspect of your emergency management program. We would be pleased to speak with you about how our discussion forums or wikis may be able to help. We can also set up group spaces which are sub communities within OAEM-Online that have their own identity,  members, calendar of events, blogs, discussion forums, wikis and file folders to support your organization.  These can be set up so they can be viewed by the public, as private secure work spaces which can be accessed only by authorized personnel or a combination of both.
