Emergency Management in Ontario

is currently one of the fastest growing professions in Canada and Ontario. This rapid expansion comes from a number of factors:

  • Emergency occurences are becoming more devastating and more frequent world wide
  • Greater public awareness comes from improved public education and communications efforts, which also equate to a greater public expectation with regards to the handling of emergency situations
  • New and improved Educational courses available and more research is being done within the profession, these improvements have led to better educated and informed professionals within the emergency management industry

At the same time, the field is evolving rapidly with new ideas and solutions to changing environments and growing concerns. Many current or aspiring emergency management professionals are looking for support to achieve success with their careers in Ontario.
