CSAZ1600 this is The Standard for Emergency Management in Canada. This course is facilitated by three of OAEM's well versed subject matter experts. This is a two day course, but it is broken into two separate dates to allow participants to participate in OAEM's professional development days as well as the CSA training.Class sizes are limited to 20 participants. There are case studies and real life situations brought forwarded for participants to analyze, critique, study and review individually as well as in a group setting.There is a knowledge check, (written test) at the end of day two. This test is forwarded to the Canadian Standards Association for marking. A successful participant is then rewarded with the CSAZ1600 Certification. All course materials are supplied and in your course binder is a copy of the CSAZ1600 standard for your personal use and for reference at your work site.Combining the CSAZ1600 course with OAEM's Professional Development days allows for phenomenal networking, learning and educational opportunities.
