Emergency Preparedness Week 2023

Emergency Preparedness Week is an opportunity to promote the importance of planning and preparing for emergencies. 'EP Week' is a national event supported by Public Safety Canada, working closely with provincial and territorial emergency management organizations, Indigenous organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector who support activities at the local level. An annual event for over 25 years, it traditionally takes place the first full week of May. This year Emergency Preparedness Week runs from May 7 - 13, 2023. Ontarians are encouraged to take action to become better prepared for the range of emergencies they could face.

This year's theme is: A Safe, Practiced and Prepared Ontario
