TRAINING AND WORKSHOP CALENDAR - 2024 

• OAEM and FESTI host the FEMA Public Information Officer Awareness Training Certificate Course with FEMA Instructor Rob Keller (PIO/JIC) at the Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute (FESTI) in Mississauga. This 3 day, in person course will take place on April 8-10, 2024. Full to capacity.

  Scribe Training for the EOC: Decision Making and Documentation with Training Facilitator Monique Rollin. Join OAEM for a 1 day virtual workshop. The workshop will provide education and training on the importance of the EOC Scribe function during emergency management response and introduce methods and best practices to develop note keeping skills. Space is limited to 25 participants. OAEM Member rate: $100.00 per participant and non-OAEM member rate: $150. Registration is now open for the June 26th course offering.  Subsequent courses are planned for September and November.
