OAEM is seeking emerging emergency management and business continuity students and industry professionals to join the Student Engagement Committee (SEC); an important opportunity to get involved and interact with Canada’s largest emergency management and business continuity professional association.
The OAEM SEC integrates EM/BCP students, next generation leaders and professionals to create an immersive learning and mentorship experience.

- Meaningful engagement in a wide variety of Board activities
- Serve as an OAEM ambassador by promoting association initiatives at post-secondary institutions and emergency management student networks across Ontario
- Support ‘In Your Community’ member outreach and student-focused events
- Identify student supports, professional development needs and interact with professional mentors
